About the Petronas trip..this trip teaches me how to greet with people and also give me experience to be in a high position by wearing a formal clothes with blazer as well.
Before going for a trip we had a social gathering at UITM hall. Every each of us need to choose one company and need to represent the company. We were asked to wear a full formal dressing with a business card as well. When I went to the hall, all my friends look so smart because of wearing all the blazer and they look like a manager. Everyone is representing their own company and i am representing UMW Holdings BHD. This social gathering actually is about the representative of every company will meet each other and will promote and explain about their company.
After done with the social gathering, we then went to Petronas main office at kk as a trip, and we need to be in formal also. When we reach the Petronas main office, we were given a short briefing about Petronas and then we were asked to listen for the talk about the Petronas. They explained about what is Petronas and its business. Then we were brought for a walk around the building guided by their employees. They showed us their meeting room, they have a lot of meeting room and all of the meeting room are so big and nice. They also have a jamming room,gym and also a space for ping pong table. All the employees are so kind and friendly but most of the employees with the high position is from the peninsular. One of the employees told me that Petronas kk are actually looking for a bumiputra employees and they also mention that they want the student from uitm to work with them as uitm student are well trained, as they said. After finish with the walk we had a tea break and end the trip with taking pictures.
